PVC tarpaulin (PVC-coated polyester canvas) is a tough, waterproof, and UV-stable fabric designed for heavy outdoor use. It resists tearing, mildew, and abrasion, is easy to clean, and can be heat-welded or eyeleted for custom sizing. Its smooth surface also takes large-format printing well, making it ideal for both protection and branding.

About Us
CN Canvas & Hardware Pte Ltd, which is also formerly known as Chinam & Company was established in 1969. We started as a family business founded by our forefathers and it was passed down through four generations.
In remembering our good old days– we have certainly made a series of remarkable breakthroughs.
Despite the many hurdles met, our hard work has brought about our streak of capacity expansion. Back in the day, we started our foundation from the famed location, Syed Alwi Road – the legendary birthplace of the canvas trade.
Materials that suits your needs
UVFLEX Series (UV-stabilised PE canvas)
Light, waterproof, flexible, abrasion/weather resistant, and UV-resistant (enhanced via UV stabilisers) for longer lifespan outdoors.
UV-treated PE tarps: HDPE woven with LDPE lamination plus added UV stabiliser to resist sun exposure—suited for outdoor covers.
PVFLEX Series (PVC tarpaulin/canvas)
Waterproof; UV, oxidation, weather, heat/cold resistance; high tensile/tear/peel strength; flexible and easy to clean; optional fire-retardant. Typical uses: canopy/pool/trailer curtains, machine/boat covers, etc.
Technical guidance on PVC-coated polyester: durable, waterproof, high UV resistance; easy to maintain.
PEFLEX Series (PE tarpaulin/canvas)
Affordable, lightweight, non-toxic/odourless, waterproof, UV-resistant, recyclable; good tensile/tear strength; flexible with abrasion and weather resistance; handles heat/cold well.
Woven PE (HDPE/LDPE laminated) benefits: cost-effective, lightweight, tear- and water-resistant; UV-resistant when treated; commonly used for tarps/ground sheets.
Nylon Oxford Series
Nylon Oxford (210D/420D/600D) with PU/PVC coating: water-repellent, tear- and abrasion-resistant; durable yet lightweight and flexible.
PU-coated Oxford overview: coating boosts water resistance; oxford weave adds tear/abrasion resistance—suited to outdoor gear, bags, and covers.
Premium Specialize UV Acrylic Series
Solution-dyed acrylic + Cleanguard/Cleangard finish: long-term colour fastness, UV protection, water repellency, resistance to tearing, dirt, and mildew; great for awnings, pergolas, marine (bimini/dodger).
